I have been using hearing help devices for two decades. I have used many differant types and styles. I now have very significant hearing loss. My last two pairs of hearing aids were bought at a big box store. They worked well and I was satisfied with them. But nothing last forever. I found myself in need of replacements. I retired since my last pair was bought so I don't have the finances to by the thousand dollar aids anymore. So I started doing research on all the new over-the-counter aids that were being sold. Theses were rated positively and the price was within my budget. I have been using them for about two weeks now. First I will say they are worth what I paid for them and function as advertised. They however are not hearing aids. The do amplify the sounds around you to help. They have many nice features to help tune them to your needs and surroundings. However for someone with my level of hearing loss they present problems. I have to have the volume up to max most of the time which leads to feedback. The various earbud pieces that came with the units have a variety of sizes and styles but most of them alow the feedback. The ones that fit the tightest and block the feedback are uncomfortable after long periods of time. So I have to use a pair that fits more comfortable but then the feedback is an issue. So I have to turn down the volume which defeats the purpose. I have had similar issues in the past with the less expensive devices. It is to be expected if you need the higher volumes. Lastly I would like to say that I only get about twelve hours of use per charge. This is frustrating at times when watching TV at night or visiting with a friend and they quit. All of the above are things to be expected for a $400 device versus a 2 to $3000 device. As I said in the beginning they are worth the price but they are not real hearing aids. They will help someone with mild to moderate hearing loss no problem.

Fit very well. I hardly know they are there.

The only issue I have is with the battery life. Advertised as “up to 20 hours”. I put them in just before I leave for work. I return home 11 hours later. They die 2 hours after that. My wife would like to see the benefit longer. Like when we are watching TV.

Okay, i purchased for my 92 yo mother. They work. She loves them. And I HATE companies that beg for approval.
